At Qtr Breaks

Loudoun Soccer U7 and U8 teams play on micro fields (30 x 40 yards), and instead of throw-ins, players do kick-ins. There is also no enforcement of the off-sides rule for U7/U8 games. Player substitutions may only be made at quarter breaks (no free substitution) unless there is an injury and a player has to come off. Coaches must remain on the sideline during games and are not allowed to be on the field to provide player guidance at all.

U7 Program
U7 Players will participate in two practices per week and one game on Saturdays.
Games will be run in a 4 v 4 format on a single field.
U7 Players will end their season in the Loudoun Soccer Jamboree, a day full of soccer and other fun activities.
All U7 players will receive an end of the season participation award.

U8 Program
U8 Players will play 4 v 4 with NO GOALIES. We have added a new Challenge League. The challenge league is designed for players who need a little bit more of a challenging playing environment.
The Challenge League is open to ALL ON TIME Loudoun Soccer registered U8 players. Parents simply need to designate the wish for challenge during the time of registration by checking the appropriate box.
Challenge League players MUST attend a MANDATORY evaluation before being placed in the challenge league. This is not a try out; it is simply an assessment of skill level, so that the players are all placed in the optimum playing environment. Evaluations are scheduled throughout the month of July, and players only need attend one session.
